Predstavljamo vam najnoviji ciklus Studija o mladima za Jugoistočnu Evropu. Studije o mladima su projekat Fondacije Friedrich Ebert koji se provodi u nekoliko regija širom svijeta, a ova edicija predstavlja treći izvještaj za region Jugoistočne Evrope, nakon objava iz 2015. i 2018/2019. godine. Ove godine su ispitane 8.943 mlade osobe uzrasta od 14 do 29 godina iz Albanije, Bosne i Hercegovine, Bugarske, Hrvatske, Kosova, Sjeverne Makedonije, Crne Gore, Rumunije, Srbije, Slovenije, Grčke i Turske.
Rezultati studije prikazuju mlade kao nezavisne, ali duboko zabrinute. Kontinuirani uticaji pandemije COVID-19, agresija Rusije protiv Ukrajine, klimatska kriza i rastući anti-demokratski trendovi u regionu značajni su izvori zabrinutosti. Proces pristupanja Evropskoj Uniji je u zemljama zapadnog Balkana započeo prije više od 20 godina. Iako je postignut određeni napredak, on je spor, a povjerenje u EU kao garant stabilnosti i prosperiteta, kao i u sam proces pristupanja, opada. Ekonomsku stabilnost i mogućnost izgradnje budućnosti mladi smatraju najvažnijim prioritetima. Mnogi su spremni da se odreknu određenih liberalnih prava, poput prava manjina, u zamjenu za ekonomsku sigurnost. Razlike u stavovima i iskustvima između mladih muškaraca i žena se udaljavaju šire po nekoliko ključnih pitanja, a korupcija i socio-ekonomski problemi su među najhitnijim brigama mladih u regionu.
Fondacija Friedrich Ebert vjeruje da su mladi ključ za demokratsku i progresivnu budućnost. Cilj ove studije nije samo govoriti o mladima, već se direktno uključiti u razgovor s njima. Cilja se preispitivanje stereotipa o današnjoj omladini, nudeći realističnu sliku njihovih mišljenja, briga i aspiracija – i da pomogne u pronalaženju političkih rješenja koja će se baviti njihovim potrebama.
O studiji
Poznati istraživači iz odgovarajućih regiona angažovani su za izradu Studija o mladima. To je omogućilo da se rezultati smjeste u kontekst specifičan za svaku zemlju i pruže uvidi koji inače ne bi bili mogući. Unutar projekta, izrađena je komparativna regionalna studija i 12 studija o pojedinačnim zemljama. Regionalnu komparativnu studiju o mladima napisali su Jasmin Hasanović (glavni autor), Emina Adilović, Miran Lavrič i Dragan Stanojević, a uredila je Elena Avramovska (FES Demokratija za budućnost). Studija je pripremljena na osnovu reprezentativne ankete koju je proveo IPSOS između 9. februara i 25. marta 2024. godine, koristeći intervjue putem interneta (CAWI), telefonske intervjue i lične intervjue. Takođe, više informacija o stavovima i mišljenjima mladih iz Bosne i Hercegovine će biti dostupno u novembru 2024. godine, kada je planirana objava bosanskohercegovačke Studija o mladima.
