Politička škola je edukativni program koji okuplja mlade društveno-političke aktiviste/ice iz BiH, gdje imaju priliku učiti o osnovnim vrijednostima socijaldemokratije, razvijati vještine iz oblasti političke prakse i djelovanja, te razgovarati sa predstavnicima izvršne i zakonodavne vlasti u BiH. Ovaj program zajednički relaizuju Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung u BiH i Forum lijeve inicijative od 2011. godine do danas.
Politička škola – YLW, održana je u Sarajevu u periodu od 18-22.06.2025. Polaznici/ce su imali/e priliku kroz interaktivna predavanja steći znanja o socijaldemokratiji, osnovnim vrijednostima kao i steći uvid o političkom spektru u BiH, kroz analiziranje političkog i izbornog sistema. Program Političke škole osim predavanja uključuje i posjete institucijama i zvaničnicima, kako bi polaznici/ce mogli/e razgovarati o različitim temama i razmijeniti mišljenja. U tu svrhu upriličena je posjeta Gradskoj vijećnici Grada Sarajeva, gdje su domaćini bili gradonačelnik Predrag Puharić, te gradski vijećnik Muamer Mekić.
Razgovarano je teme funkcionisanja lokalne samouprave, lokalnog razvoja, pružanja javnih usluga, kao i o saradnji i promociji zajedničkih inicijativa od interesa. U zgradi Parlamentarne Skupštine BiH polaznici/ice Političke škole ostvarili su posjetu kod Rejhane Dervišević, zastupnice u PS BiH, i Ermine Salkičević-Dizdarević, zastupnice u PS BiH, razgovarajući na teme rodne ravnopravnosti u političkom odlučivanju, kao i o povećanju vidljivosti političkog učešća žena u BiH.
U nastavku programa polaznici/ce su diskutovali na teme radničkih prava, radnog zakonodavstva i unapređenja položaja radnika u BiH, kao i o važnosti promovisanja koncepta uvođenja energetske efikasnosti u javnu sferu, javno mnijenje i medije. Budući da su polaznici/ice Političke škole aktivni/e u svojim lokalnim zajednicama od velike važnosti za njih je predstavljao razgovor sa Jelenom Pekić, dopredsjedavajućom Skupštine Kantona Sarajeva i Samirom Avdićem, zastupnikom u Skupštini Kantona Sarajevo gdje su razgovarali/e o pokretanju lokalnih inicijativa, pronalaženju zainteresovanih strana za pregovore i lobiranju u zajednici.
O važnosti digitalnog marketinga i upotrebi digitalnih alata za promociju ideja i inicijativa u zajednici govorili smo sa predstavnicima medijama i stručnjacima za komunikaciju, kako bi polaznici/ice stekli/e uvid u ulozi medija u oblikovanju javnog mišljenja i informisanju javnosti. Nakon završene Političke škole polaznicima/cama su uručeni certifikati, te su zajedno sa facilitatoricom pristupili evaluaciji programa.
